Intermediate Italian: Part 2 (Level: B1)

Intermediate Italian: Part 2 (Level: B1)

Continue your Italian journey with this rich and culturally immersive 10-week course. You'll explore two thematic units from Nuovo Espresso 3 — from the art of making plans, giving advice and telling stories, to travelling through Italian history via the lives of remarkable Italians. The course has a strong focus on reading and discussion, and includes selected readings from Italiani famosi by Valeria Savi to bring history and culture to life.

Grammar deepens further, with the past conditional, the second type conditional (periodo ipotetico), the gerund, and more — giving you the tools to express yourself with nuance and confidence.

Suitable for students who have completed Intermediate Italian Part 1, or those at an equivalent B1 level comfortable with the subjunctive, passive form, passato remoto, and sequence of tenses.

On completion, you can progress to Intermediate Italian Part 3 (B1).
