Beginners Italian: Part 3 (Level: A1)

Continue learning Italian and exploring its rich culture in this engaging course designed for near beginners. You will expand your vocabulary and refine your grammar, focusing on everyday topics such as holidays, weekend activities, weather, and food shopping.


Through interactive exercises and the cultural project Racconta l’Italia, you will develop confidence in using key structures, including the passato prossimo, reflexive verbs, prepositions, and direct pronouns.


Emphasis will be placed on practical communication to enhance your speaking skills. This course will cover Units 7, 8, and 9, supplemented with games and activities. On completion, you can progress onto Post-Beginners Italian pt1 (A2).

This course is focused on spoken interaction and communication. Typical activities include pair work, group work, role plays and games. Your teacher will provide a range of activities to support your learning including presentations, hand-outs, and audio-visual material. After each session, you will be assigned homework which is highly recommended to consolidate learning.
